Section 3 Program

Investing in our community at HACG, we believe in the power of hiring local. All of our open positions are Section 3 eligible, meaning we prioritize providing career opportunities to the residents who need them most. In accordance with HUD guidelines, we give hiring preference to:

  • Section 3 Workers: Individuals who meet HUD’s low-income criteria, reside in public housing, or participate in the YouthBuild program.
  • Targeted Section 3 Workers: Residents of public housing, Section 8 voucher holders, or YouthBuild participants living within one mile of our project sites.
